Job Description: Provide accurate, timely product technical support to customers, sales, end users, and specifiers for advanced inquiries relative to product application or characteristics. In partnership with sales representatives, initiate product up-sell, cross-sell or product substitution as opportunities present. Verify pricing and customer credit status as required. Execute low- to mid-level account management responsibilities to meet designated customer requirements, which may include but is not limited to: schedule delivery appts; maximize line and unit order fill rate; influence on-time delivery; promote web utilization; analyze vendor report cards and determine/execute performance improvement initiatives; and, participate on cross-functional/internal quality teams formed to enhance service performance or define/implement improvements to systems and processes.
