In a report released by Forrester Research, spending on technology products and services is predicted to continue to expand around the world throughout 2010.
In a report released by Forrester Research, spending on technology products and services is predicted to continue to expand around the world throughout 2010.
The most IT growth will occur in the US at a rate of 9.9%, while the rest of the world will grow at 7.8% resulting in a total of $1.58 trillion.
Here’s a percentage breakdown of the IT spend:
- Canada: 16.2% increase
- Latin America: 15.4% increase
- Asia-Pacific: 11% increase
- Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa: 10.5% increase
- Western & Central Europe: 0.7% decrease
Why this increase in IT spending?
This growth is fueled by the US and other nations entering a cycle where they are adopting new technologies.
