Description
Area Manager-External Affairs
Overall Position: Serves as the primary contact for city/county elected officials and key stakeholders in central Indiana. Responsible for: securing 3rd party support for public policy issues; collaborating and contributing to the government relations team; meeting with congressional field staff to discuss pending issues; meeting with state legislators and staff to discuss pending issues; monitoring city/county issues; building/maintaining positive key stakeholder relations; coordinating with internal key stakeholders; and managing the day-to-day operations of External Affairs in assigned cities and counties in central Indiana.
Education: Bachelors degree
Experience: Previous experience in government, government relations, or industry relations
