SUMMARY:
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for driving demand for critical care TSS products, profitability, and business strategy to achieve financial and strategic goals for assigned territory.

· Maintaining existing revenue through establishment and maintenance of superior customer relationships.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Achieve revenue goals through:
o Rental revenue from target and non-target accounts
o Sales revenue from target and non-target accounts
o Monetary value of new sales agreements, account conversion/rental agreements
o Development of relationships with key decision-makers and industry key opinion leaders
· Prepares territory management and strategic account development plans and business reviews
· Negotiates local contract pricing, terms and conditions
· Implements national agreements
· Creates appropriate sales strategies based on IDN, geography, pricing, customer need, program implementation, etc.
· Develop financial information and analysis for customer assessment regarding cost effectiveness of KCI therapies
· Drives transitions by promoting "Continuity of Care" message to Physician, Administrators and Discharge Planners
· Participates in conventions, showrooms, vendor fairs, in-services
· Training and in-service of accounts using KCI products
· Collaborates with other care settings to provide continuity of care
· Communicates with district, regional and national sales management and marketing on plans, status and competitive activities
· Assist in person with provision of care for complex ICU patients
· Obtain all necessary vaccinations to address hospital, vendor credentialing, and ICU policies and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors degree in Business or related field
· At least four years direct clinical experience, or 4 years of critical care/medical device product sales experience.
· Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with preparing territory management and strategic account development plans and business reviews
· Experience with negotiating local contract pricing, terms and conditions
· Experience with creating sales strategies based on IDN, geography, pricing, customer need,
· Experience with financial analysis
· Demonstrated Ability to manage change and multiple priorities
· Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions, present information and communicate analyses and reports
· Demonstrated Ability to operate independently with limited supervision
· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings
· Demonstrated Ability to exercise sound judgment, eliciting support and cooperation from coworkers
· Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet project spikes and all performance objectives
* Experience with current ICU practices, bundles, and protocols
* Experience with ventilatory management strategies
* Ability to work on call and travel 2 hrs in a car to assist in patient placement and management on critical care products

Preferred
* Ability to deal effectively with employees and business contacts and convey a positive service oriented attitude
* Ability to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required.
* Ability to engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing
* Registered Respiratory Therapist
