Communications Writer - Aprimo
Title: Communications Writer - Aprimo Location: Indiana-Indianapolis We are looking for a Communications Writer to work as a part of a dynamic team in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial company. The Communications Writer is a story teller - a person who can take technical language or complex business issues, and communicate to a wide range of internal and external audiences via many different channels. While the role is truly one of individual contributor, a high degree of interaction and teamwork are required to be effective in the role. The qualified candidate will possess excellent writing skills and have good teamwork, leadership and communication skills, and a strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
. Develops news releases, company backgrounders and collateral to communicate information concerning new products, customer testimonials and product benchmarking. . Develops content for the publication of Aprimo's customer e-Newsletter . Provides content and posts information on Aprimo's social media channels, including blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. . Create content for Aprimo Marketing initiatives including: o Write copy o Adapt brochures and videos for web presentation o Assures that web content is up-to-date and consistent with other marketing communications materials. . Develops and manages campaign content through completion including emails, whitepapers, customer case studies, and related materials. . Creates internal communications to enhance employee engagement and promote understanding of business priorities and key initiatives. . Writes and assists in the creation and production of various electronic media projects including video productions, podcasts, websites and interactive media projects. . Provides editing and proof reading for other marketing team members.
. BS/BA degree or equivalent required (English, Journalism, Communications or related Major) . Minimum of 4-5 years experience in agency, corporate creative services, with demonstrated experience as a writer. . Excellent writing and editing skills are a must and past business examples must be provided upon request . Experience changing and modifying writing style for news releases, blogs, eNewsletters, customer examples, website content, collateral and digital media. . Experience with electronic media . Must be able to plan, organize, and implement writing projects involving complex technical data. . Must have the ability to translate technical information into crisp, compelling marketing literature. . Experience in producing videos a plus . Knowledge of the software or highly technical industry a plus
