CST FA (Certified Surgical Tech First Assistant) Department: TIHH - Cardiovascular OR Schedule: Full Time (Benefited) Shift: Days Hours: 8 Job Details: * DUTIES: The CST FA is a perioperative certified surgical technician who works in collaboration with the surgeon and health care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an operating room
EDUCATION: Graduation from a recognized school of surgical technology, along with successful completion of a CST FA program
LICENSE: Current Surgery Technologist certification and current First Assistant certification
PREREQUISITE SKILLS: * Requires the expertise in the understanding of aseptic principles * Oral communication skills are required to communicate appropriately with the entire surgical team
