AOTMP is a small entrepreneurial company on a fast growth track and is looking for a career oriented, highly motivated Director of Marketing to work in our Indianapolis office. The selected individual will be an individual contributor as well as a leader and team builder who can expand our two person marketing department as business dictates. This position is a key part of our management team and will report directly to the CEO.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To bring a clear understanding that marketing is all about driving revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute on a branding strategy for our company to gain market share; turn our vision into an executable strategy
  • Develop, manage and drive conversations / interactions for our transaction ($2,500 to $100,000 sales) and strategic $250,000 to $2 million sales) sales teams
  • Build an asset library for our sales teams: create sales presentations, sell sheets, customer testimonials and case studies and other customer-facing collateral
  • Develop the content for and manage our two primary web sites ( and )
  • Create, own and manage customer proposals
  • Own the success of the two major industry events we produce each year
  • Create, manage and drive a social media strategy to generate sales opportunities
  • Develop online sales programs for our transaction services to drive increased revenues

 

 REQUIREMENTS:


  • A clear understanding that marketing is about creating measurable results that impact the bottom line.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on and management experience in business-to-business marketing in telecom, technology or information services
  • Proven track record of success in a very high-activity, fast-paced environment
  • A take-charge individual with a strong sense of urgency and who is results oriented
  • Experience driving significant growth in an entrepreneurial organization and / or international experience a big plus
  • Ability to develop ROI focused business cases , write effective business correspondence, and develop recommendations
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations
  • The candidate should be looking for a long-term career and not just a job; someone who wants to play a major role in building the company
  • Position based in Indianapolis

 

The selected candidate will receive a compensation package including a very competitive salary and bonus plan based on quantifiable results and a complete benefit package including medical and dental coverage, 401k and PTO time.  No relocation available.
