Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer 1\2

: Flight and Control subsystem engineer to develop and manage requirements, design control and autonomy algorithms, perform spacecraft orbital and rigid-body dynamics analysis, design telemetry and command systems, support mixed simulation testing for embedded flight software, and develop spacecraft operating procedures. Potential assignments will include system engineering, attitude control unit engineering, software interface and requirements management, space vehicle autonomy algorithm development, mission operations, dynamics and controls analysis, and requirements validation

Basic - Basic ability to create system level requirements for GNC systems and allocate those requirements down to the component level. Knowledge of military specifications, government regulations, customer needs, GNC system and component capabilities, and architectures.

• Navigation & Control Analysis
Basic - Basic ability to perform engineering analysis of Guidance, Navigtation, and Controls (GNC) systems using knowledge of guidance, navigation, and control theory, analysis techniques, and general knowledge of applications to aircraft, weapons, and space vehicles.

• Simulation and Modeling
Basic - Basic aeromechanics and/or astodynamics knowledge and limited simulation model development experience.
Preferred - General knowledge of aeromechnics and astrodynamics, and environmental modeling.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience.
