Title: Mgr, Field Marketing & Demand Generation - Aprimo Location: Indiana-Indianapolis The Manager of Field Marketing and Demand Generation is responsible for working closely with the North American sales team to develop, implement and execute regional demand generation programs that support specific sales initiatives. This key role will serve as both a strategist and a hands-on contributor, responsible for creating, implementing and executing effective regional demand generation strategies that are aligned with Aprimo's corporate business and sales strategies.
In partnership with the Aprimo demand generation team, solutions marketing teams, and sales teams the Field Marketing and Demand Generation Manager will devise and execute quarterly and yearly strategic plans that align to Aprimo's go-to-market strategy, generate new business leads and increase thought leadership with target audiences. The role will build strategic relationships with the Aprimo and Teradata sales teams and work closely with them to align to and support their needs.
This position will work to align demand generation programs to multiple stages of the sales cycle from early stage "top of funnel" through to closing. They will analyze demand generation program data to enhance program performance, and optimize marketing budgets. The Field Marketing Demand Generation Manager will have a deep understanding of Aprimo's markets, including key influencers, third-party publications, and marketing tactics, and have experience executing campaigns across both traditional and digital channels. The role will also understand the individual sales territories and unique circumstances for each territory in order to design individual plans to meet sales objectives in region.
They will also build and execute multi-channel campaigns leveraging Aprimo software. The Field Marketing & Demand Generation Manager will create the overall Demand Generation plans for the regional sales teams to leverage messaging, influence the marketplace, capture customers and prospects, generate, nurture and convert pipeline.
Specific duties include: * Research, develop, produce and present comprehensive Demand Generation Plan for short and long-term profitable growth for the events division. Develop the campaigns, execution steps, content requirements, reporting templates, and supporting systems management. * Actively solicit inputs from key stakeholders regarding new Demand Generation and campaign plan requirements for new product launches and existing product pipeline development. Build the overall strategy for utilizing the right market tactics in a combined and integrated marketing manner, and manages multi-touch campaigns. * Execute and report on these programs and their success against target objectives. * Manage the sales and marketing lead process and productivity initiatives, with familiarity into the supporting systems, including Aprimo and * Develop prospect nurturing programs to manage pipeline opportunities in support of sales. * Coordinate, where appropriate, through Sales Management to provide direct sales support & sales communications, sales training, as part of ensuring success of demand gen programs. * Aggressively review and stay abreast of market trends through all available resources including: trade publications, 3rd Party Market Reports, direct customer contact, participation in industry conferences/expos/trade shows, etc.

Minimum Position Requirements: · Bachelor's degree required, along with 3-5 years of B2C demand generation experience · High tech experience strongly preferred · Previous marketing software (Aprimo) experience and experience strongly preferred · Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted and deadline-oriented environment · Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage to successful implementation · Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a broad array of employees and constituents. · Excellent communication/interpersonal/conflict resolution skills · Excellent oral, written, and visual communications skills, including superior editing and proofreading abilities · Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop others · Event planning and execution experience preferred · Strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of HTML
