Public Safety Intern (Sports Management/Operations)
Number of Positions: 1 Fall, Spring and Summer Semester
Hours Required: 30 + hours per week including weekends.

Criteria & Qualifications:
1. Public Safety, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security or other related major. 2. Strong communications skills (verbal and written). 3. Well organized and strong computer knowledge. 4. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare pre-event instruction sheets for staff briefings. 2. Work on staff/team member handbook. 3. Assist with safety committee review and revision to emergency manual. 4. Develop survey to capture CM and security ideas for improved customer service. 5. For events, administer survey to CM & security personnel. 6. Spend day/event with security, crowd management, guest relations, fire marshall, EMT, police.
