Sales / Account Manager-Industrial Automation/Toyota/Auto Manufacturing
IMMEDIATE NEED with a leading distributor of factory automation components located in Indianapolis, IN. Client is searching for an Outside Salesperson to join their team on a direct hire basis.
Responsibilities:
-> Primarily handle all aspects of sales with emphasis on growing both the sales and contact base thru on-site visitations. Promoting company as the preferred distributor.
-> Assist the account executive when required on daily inquiries to Japan and domestic suppliers, quotations to customers, ordering of product and following up of customer issues. Ensure all of your customers needs are met.
-> Regularly evaluate and recommend changes to the branch or regional manager on customer issues, such as but not limited to, customer news, supplier issues, projects and problems in your areas of responsibility
-> Attain a strong working knowledge of the products company distributes. Assist the branch or regional manager on the prevention of troubles in both daily sales activities and operation of the areas of responsibility
-> Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to company's branch or regional manager. At the same time recommending solutions for the pre mentioned issues.
-> Work with your account executive to analyze and resolve problems relative to any account within your area
Requirements:
-> This position requires a minimum AS Degree. Hands-on experience maybe suitable based on the candidates experience
-> The ideal candidate should have a technical background in Industrial Automation technologies combined with at least 5 years of successful technical field experience as outside sales serving a Toyota or large auto manufacturing facility.
-> Product Knowledge ? Has a clear understanding of the advantages and features of our products and our competitor?s products enabling us to offer the most effective solutions and applications
-> Ability to prioritize work and meet obligations
