Interactive Intelligence is currently looking for advanced C++ and/or C# Developers with experience in working with relational databases and SQL. As a software engineer with Interactive Intelligence you will design, develop, test and maintain various i3 products or interfaces. Successful applicants must demonstrate proven knowledge with C++, C#, SQLServer or Oracle as well as use of industry standard libraries including STL.
The successful candidate will be well-versed in the full lifecycle development process and will be able to work in a self-directed environment.
Responsibilities Include: ? Creating technical specifications, design documents as well as test plans ? Design, develop, test and maintain key areas of various i3 products i.e Client, Server or Applications side ? Participate and lead code and design reviews ? Working within our internal software processes including generation and maintenance of software change requests, and attendance in regular project and team meetings. This includes communication of exact status of features that are under design, development or testing. ? Work with Education, Testing and Documentation departments to help create proper documentation, test plans and education materials
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: ? B.S. in Computer Science ? 5 years industry experience developing with C++ and/ or C#. ? Experience developing under Windows ? Object oriented development concepts ? STL Experience ? Experience with database design and development, preferably in Microsoft SQLServer or Oracle environments. ? Understanding of multi-threaded programming ? Understanding of n-tiered architectures and object-oriented design and development concepts ? Ability to quickly grasp and master new technologies ? Excellent communication skills
